REIKI

Sue Bonito is a Reiki Master/Teacher/Practitioner of the Usui System of Natural Healing and is a Registered Karuna Reiki® Master. She studied under Reiki Master Ginny Mackles, whose lineage is linked to Hawayo Takata. She is registered with the International Reiki Association.

Recently, Sue received her Jikiden Reiki I (Shoden) and Jikiden Reiki II (Okuden) Training with Frank Arjava Petter. She nows practices Western and Jikiden Reiki at REJUVENATE Sanctuary. As a practitioner in both Jikiden and Western Reiki I will determine which method I will use. I will never mix the different styles.

What is Reiki?

Rei (Pronounced RAY) Ki (Pronounced KEY)

The words together traditionally mean Universal Life Force Energy.

The Reiki treatment is an ancient healing practice where one might find rejuvenation, clarity and energized enthusiasm for life. Reiki is said to feel like a warm, enhanced state of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Reiki can work on emotional blocks as well as physical dis-ease, allowing the Universal Life Force Energy to nourish, balance, and encourage a healthy state of being. It energizes on all levels and strives to bring these differing levels into a balanced state. Reiki healing energy activates the body's natural ability to heal itself.

What is Jikiden Reiki?

The word "Jikiden" means directly handed down. So the process of a Jikiden Reiki is directly handed down from Usui Sensei's (Founder of Reiki) direct students in Japan. It has not changed in its cultural and practical practice. Whereas, Western Reiki has been influenced and changed to meet the western style and culture. Until early in the 2000's Jikiden Reiki was only practiced in Japan, but the Yamaguchi family realised how much the Reiki teachings now being spread across the world had changed from their original intent, they decided to set up a Jikiden Reiki Institute offering authentic Reiki training based on what they had learned from Chujiro Hayashi in the early 1900s. And so this is what I practice today for your Reiki Treatment.

A Reiki treatment generally takes an hour, but shorter Reiki treatments of at least 20 minutes are also extremely beneficial. While the experience of Reiki treatment is individual, it is often accompanied by a deep feeling of warmth, well-being, comfort, relaxation, and revitalization. Our body uses the extra energy of Reiki to help repair its self quicker than it could otherwise. Some people report experiencing other benefits including pain relief during the treatment. *

Reiki supports and amplifies both conventional alopathic and Asian medical and non-medical treatments, as well as homeopathic and naturopathic therapies. For some people 1-3 treatments are enough to help them recover from a problem and for others or for chronic or very serious problems a longer course of treatments is recommended. While definite benefit can be gained  from just a single treatment, to get the best results from Reiki, regular sessions are important.

Reiki Sessions:

1 hour

1/2 hour

Reiki in the Workplace:

Reiki is a wonderful treatment that can be performed in the workplace. It can be conducted right at a person’s desk as a session simply requires a room with a chair. If the person would like a more personal experience a conference or lunch room off hours is also an ideal site for sessions.

Reiki at the workplace can be offered weekly, on a rotating schedule or at your scheduling convenience depending on the number of employees to be serviced at each treatment day. Companies can offer a variety of ways of offering such a restoration health component at the workplace. GIve us a call or email us to discuss options for your company.
